Casey’s Asian Style Pork Chops – Recipe Corner

Want a quick, easy, and flavorful pork chop for dinner?

Grab some pork chops (I used thin cut but you can use thick) I had 2 lbs. Rub your chops with a mix of – 1 teaspoon smoked paprika and 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon each of nutmeg, cumin and black pepper.

Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a hot sauté pan over medium high. Brown the chops on each side. Don’t over crowd the pan.. Brown a few, remove and brown the rest. When all are done.. Put all chops back in the pan.

Put in 1 tablespoon of butter, 2 tablespoons of each: soy sauce, mirin, and rice vinegar.. 1 tablespoon of sherry vinegar and 1 tablespoon of toasted sesame oil. Add enough water to just about cover the chops. I used a half cup.

Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 15 minutes covered and 5 uncovered.

Top with white and black sesame seeds to garnish if desired!

They will fall apart and pack so much flavor it’ll seem like you cooked them all day vs. under 30 minutes! ✨
