Casey’s Delectable Dry Rub Pork Loin – Recipe Corner

Pork Loins are one of those great meats that, if cooked correctly, are melt in your mouth delicious! I love pork loin.. dry rubbed, seared, and baked. AHHHMAZING! Just be sure not to over cook it, and give it enough rest time so it doesn’t dry out 🙂

This recipe is a great guideline for a delectably moist pork loin! The spice rub I use is also great on beef or chicken, but I prefer it on the pork loin! 😉

Casey’s Delectable Dry Rub Pork Loin –

1 1/2 pound pork loin

1 teaspoon of granulated garlic

1 teaspoon of smoked paprika

1 teaspoon of pepper

1 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of ground mustard

1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger

1/8 teaspoon of ground sage

Pre Heat your oven to 375 degrees. Prepare a sheet pan with foil and cooking spray.

1. Combine all of the spices together. Spray your pork loin with cooking spray and rub the spice mix evenly all over it. Cover with plastic and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, up to 3 hours.

2. Heat your BBQ, indoor grill pan, or saute pan on high heat and spray with cooking spray. Brown each side of the pork loin, and then transfer it to the prepared baking sheet and bake for 35 minutes.

3. Remove from the oven and allow it to rest for 10 minutes before slicing to retain the juices in the loin. Slice and serve with the juices from the foil in the oven and any juices that were expressed from the pork loin while it rested.


This rub is fabulous!

(and i’m not just sayin’ that because I created it haha)

You have the smokey flavor from the paprika, the spice from the ginger and pepper.. the sweet cinnamon, the herb flavor from the sage.. It’s just a great rounded flavor burst for your taste buds!!
