We’ve all been there.. wake up, tired.. you need breakfast.. What to make?! You have no time.. You have nothing much in the fridge.. You have a child screaming… Whatever the case may be, you need to eat and you need it to be quick and delicious!
Well, I got your back.
With as little as three ingredients, two if you don’t eat cheese, you can have a quick delicious breakfast! The best news, most of us already have these items in the house!
1 slice of toast
2 tablespoons of shredded mozzarella (or any cheese you like)
salt and pepper to taste
1. Grease your frying pan with cooking spray, butter or oil. Heat over medium heat.
2. Cut a hole in the middle of your bread (You can use a knife, the cap from a pam bottle, a cookie cutter.. anything that makes a hole in the middle about 1 1/2 – 2 inches in diameter)
3. Place the bread on the heated pan, crack your egg and dump into the middle of the toast into your bread.
4. Let it cook until your bread is toasted and egg begins to set. Carefully flip over and allow to toast and egg cook, about 2 minutes. Add your cheese, cover with foil and shut off allow the cheese to melt.
