Casey’s Super Simple Super Spicy Meatballs – Recipe Corner

Everyone loves a good meatball.. You can put them over pasta, over salad, over rice.. in a sandwich or just by themselves! It’s also a great item to make in bulk and freeze for a rainy day 😉

These are one of many meatball recipes I have posted/ will be posting on my blog, but they may just be my favorite! If you know me you know I love me some spice!!

Casey’s Super Simple Super Spicy Meatballs – 

1 lb of ground beef

1 tablespoon of tomato paste

1 tablespoon of horseradish

1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper

1 teaspoon of sriracha

1 tablespoon of granulated garlic

1/4 teaspoon of salt with extra to sprinkle at the end

1/2 teaspoon of pepper with extra to sprinkle at the end

1/3 cup of plain breadcrumbs

1 egg

1. Combing all ingredients in a bowl, mix lightly until all items are blended together.

2. Heat enough oil in a frying pan to reach half to midway of the meatballs. Place them into the pan and cook, moving them around in the pan until all sides are golden brown and cooked through.

3. Remove from the oil and place on a paper towel to drain. Sprinkle with salt and pepper immediately so it sticks to the oil on the meatball.

You have the spice from the crushed red pepper and the sweet spice of the horse-radish and sriracha.. delicious! The salt brings out all of the flavors and the pepper gives it that extra punch.

This recipe makes 12 meatballs.
