Casey’s Unbelievably Simple Breakfast Sandwiches – Recipe Corner

I don’t know about you, but I really L O V E McDonalds breakfast sandwiches..

However, It’s no secret that they are clearly not the healthiest breakfast sandwich to eat..

What if I told you, you could make your own in about 20 minutes?!

Casey’s Unbelievably Simple Breakfast Sandwiches –

6 English muffins
6 eggs
6 slices of yellow American cheese
6 frozen sausage patties
Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees

1. Spray your oversized muffin tin with 6 cavities with nonstick and simply crack each egg into one space. Place in your oven for 20 minutes
2. Slice your English muffins in half, spray with non stick olive oil spray and toast in the oven for 8 minutes, place the cheese on top and heat another 2 minutes
3. Meanwhile, defrost your sausage patties in the microwave according to the box instructions
4. Construct your sandwich, salt and pepper it and enjoy!

They are delicious and ALOT healthier than you would get at Mickey Ds..

& dare I say, even more delicious! 😉

    I love making my own breakfast sandwiches! I usually just scramble the eggs in a pan, and then try to make them into the most disc-like shape I can, but I have to say that using a muffin tin is a much more efficient method 🙂

    I have to be honest though, they do taste great but for some reason they don’t taste as good as McDonald’s. I’m convinced they add some sort of magic ingredient that makes it taste extra good (and probably also extra unhealthy)
