Incase you have been under a rock forever… the “Yin and Yang” sign is black and white! Once you read my recipe, I am sure the name and the joke.. will make total sense to you!

Casey’s Yin Yang Chili –

non stick spray

1 1/2 lbs of ground beef

1 can of white cannellini beans, rinsed and drained

1 can of black beans, rinsed and drained

2 cups of chopped tomato (you can use canned or finely chopped fresh)

3 teaspoons of chili powder

2 teaspoons of garlic powder

1 tablespoon of salt

1 teaspoon of pepper

toppings of choice (IE: scallion, sour cream, avocado, cheese, crushed pretzels etc)

  1. Spray your saute pan and heat over medium high heat. Brown your beef breaking apart with a spatula or wooden spoon. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add in your rinsed beans, chopped tomato and seasonings. Stir to combine.
  3. Cover and allow the chili to simmer for about 8 minutes. Check to make sure your beans are cooked through. Serve hot with toppings of your choice!

Super simple and crazy delicious.. this black and white (and red all over šŸ˜‰ ) chili will be a goto dish you for on a chilly day! (pun intended) Its healthy, hearty and inexpensive..
